Bobby Bacic has flown over to see Paul Robinson following his surgery and spirits sound high.

Speaking to the official site Bobby talked about his trip and the fact that Robbo was already doing very light rehab work.

There is also a mini photo gallery on the link.

‘Robbo was originally accompanied by Steve Brown our Assistant Physiotherapist who had the privilege of watching the operation. Steve also liaised with the rehab staff who have been put in place to look after Robbo. I flew out via an emergency landing in Goose Bay Canada where we waited 7 hours on the runway for a new place. I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a polar bear arrive first, as it was the most snow laded place I have ever seen!’

Bacic says that following the operation Paul looked good and had already begun his early stage exercises, with daily walks already being prescribed.

The aim is that Robbo will fly back somepoint next week to allow the swelling to subside and his rehab work will be led by Jim McCrossin, the Athletic Trainer from the Philadelphia Flyers Ice Hockey team.
