Skipper Paul Robinson has said he’s been delighted with pre season training so far, and he’s chuffed to have been named in the squad for the Crawley friendly.

Speaking to the Official Site after missing a large chunk of last season with a groin injury, Robinson couldn’t hide his delight at being back amongst the lads, and now back in a match day squad.

‘It’s been a while, I to make sure my shinpads were still there! It’s great to be named in the squad for tomorrow and it’s hopefully the end of a long road of rehabilitation and another start from me.’

Robinson says the gaffer hasn’t yet named the starting XI, but he’s happy enough just to be involved at this stage.
