Kenny Jackett has been left severely disappointed after Millwall’s unbeaten run came to and end in somewhat spectacular fashion against Ipswich today.

Speaking to London24 following the loss, Jackett didn’t hide his frustration at our performance nor his disappointment at seeing a 13 game unbeaten run get thrown away.

‘The start of the second half was a poor one from our point of view, which was key in terms of how the match played out. We conceded two poor goals and that took the game away from us then. I understand it was 3-0 but it was a very tight game. We just couldn’t find that strike that would have sparked us and got us going.’

That spark could’ve come from Chris Wood, and Jackett was not happy with the decision.

‘We should’ve been a goal ahead before they scored, I’ve seen it again and Wood’s goal from Lowry’s pass is clearly onside. But that happens.’
