New manager Kenny Jackett has made way for his new backroom staff by announcing the departure of Pat Holland, who was Willie Donachie’s assistant, and goalkeeping coach Kevin Dearden.

Both have left by mutual consent, and Jackett confirmed he had a few people in mind to replace them:

‘Naturally coming into a new job I would like to bring in one or two of my own people in due course,’ he told the O/S.

‘But there are a number of other members of staff who will be staying here and I will assess the whole set up including staff and players over the coming weeks and months.’

‘I would like to thank Pat and Kevin for all their efforts on behalf of Millwall Football Club and I wish them the very best for the future.’
